Crowns & Bridges at Bury Dental Practice

A crown is a strong, tooth-like shell that fits over a weakened tooth, restoring its shape, size, colour and alignment. We usually recommend crowns for teeth with large fillings, after root canal treatment, or to replace old crowns that have failed after many years.

The latest crowns look just like real teeth. We reduce the outer layer of the tooth as little as possible and bond the new crown onto the remaining stable core, leaving you with a strong, beautiful-looking tooth.

If you have a gap, a bridge can be a great option. It uses the neighbouring tooth or teeth to hold a replacement tooth in place, so you can smile and chew without a gap.
