Dr Nazia Uddin
Restorative and cosmetic dentistry, composite bonding
Dr Nazia Uddin graduated from the University of Liverpool and has lived all her life in Lancashire, where she has immersed herself in work that helps the local community.
Her career spans service with both the Mersey and North West Deaneries, across Liverpool, Manchester and Lancashire. She was the first associate dentist at Littleborough Dental Practice and has helped it go from strength to strength, and now Bury Dental Practice too. She is an Educational Supervisor to newly qualified dentists.
Dr Uddin is passionate about offering the very best options to her patients. She has completed courses on Harley Street and a restorative course that has made her treatment much in demand. Together with Dr Khalid Mushtaq, she was appointed to oversee out-of-hours emergency dental care for patients across Heywood, Middleton, Rochdale and Bury.

Dr Khalid Mushtaq
Emergency care, mentoring and clinical standards
Dr Khalid Mushtaq graduated from St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry. He has lived in Rochdale all his life and is passionate about contributing to the local community.
He is Chair of the Bury & Rochdale Local Dental Committee and an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons, and was a Clinical Tutor at the University of Central Lancashire for around seven years. He is an approved mentor to newly graduated dentists and nurses, a BDA Good Practice assessor and a GDC inspector, among other senior roles.
Dr Mushtaq has been trusted with domiciliary dental care, prison dental care and, in partnership with Dr Nazia Uddin, out-of-hours emergency dental care for the area. Away from the practice he enjoys long-distance running and squash.

Dr Yasser Khan
Calm, comfortable general dentistry
Dr Yasser Khan qualified at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry and has been part of the team since summer 2010. He also provides emergency dental services at BARDOC in Bury.
He is passionate about the highest standards of dentistry and patient comfort, and understands how important good communication is. He always aims for a calm, relaxing experience and takes the time to understand exactly what each patient needs.
Outside work, Dr Khan enjoys all sports and is a keen traveller.
