White Fillings at Bury Dental Practice

When decay or a small break damages a tooth, a filling seals it, restores its shape and stops the problem from spreading. Tooth-coloured composite fillings bond directly to the tooth and are shade-matched to your natural enamel, so they look just like the rest of your smile.

We always numb the tooth first and go at your pace. If you are nervous, tell us: we are very used to helping anxious patients feel calm and in control.

FAQs

White Fillings: your questions

Anything else? Call us on 0161 764 4960 and we will gladly help.

How much is a white filling?

A single composite (white) filling is £135, two are £165 and multiple are £210. Amalgam fillings are £105 for one and £125 for multiple.

Can you replace my old silver fillings?

Often, yes. If an old amalgam filling is failing, or you would simply prefer a tooth-coloured one, we can assess whether replacing it is a good idea.

Will it hurt?

We numb the tooth before we start, so you should feel pressure rather than pain. Let us know if you are anxious and we will take things slowly.
